Losing The Swinging Mojo...?

Maybe it was the rejection at Kestrels as the last straw. Or that over the last 3 or 4 months, I have been exchanging e-mails and texts with a few ladies and couples who said they were interested in meeting but suddenly changed their minds or suddenly stopped responding. Whatever it is, I have been starting to feel that maybe it’s time to take a break from swinging for a while. I seem to have lost the inclination to invest so much time and effort for little outcome. I guess my confidence has taken a knock and I am questioning my participation on the “scene” a bit.

Don’t get me wrong, I know everyone has the right to change their mind but I seem to be getting the dreamers at the moment. I wish that people would think through what swinging means before posting their advert. It really would save a lot of time and effort all round.

This year (2012) has been particularly bad for that. It could be though that previous years were just as bad for this but I hadn’t noticed as I wasn’t writing down about my experiences as they happened. I don’t think it is this as even at the Halloween party at Gems, I found myself more talking to people rather than trying to get in on the action that was going on, I thought I would prefer parties as everyone was there for the same reason. But that didn’t seem to be the case after all.

I seem to be thinking that I would prefer to see someone on a regular basis rather than a number of different people. More one to one than one to two or parties

Or maybe a bit of luck and a good meet will restore my faith and confidence again and my journey will continue. Whatever happens, of course, I will let you know.....
