I was staying in Kate’s town through work and managed to arrange a couple of short meets over a coffee. I did my best to try and persuade her to let me take her out for dinner or a drink in the evening in the hope that I might be able to get her back to my hotel room. But she couldn’t get any child care and a quick meet up was all that could be arranged.
We have become good friends and it was just good to see her again.
