I was away with work again and staying in a town in the Midlands. Looking on the web site, I saw the profile of an attractive blonde lady. She had posted a status about being bored wondering what to do. I sent her a cheeky message saying if she was bored, she should meet me for a drink and a chat. We exchanged a more messages for the rest of the evening.
The next day, we chatted some more and again I suggested a meeting. She wouldn’t commit but we seemed to getting on well. I went out to get some dinner in the town about a mile from my hotel. Kate had told me about a place to eat which was good. After I had dinner and thinking about heading back to the hotel. I messaged Kate to ask if she would like to meet before I headed back. She replied that she was going to her local pub and gave me the name. I found it on a map and luckily it wasn’t far off the route back to the hotel.
I walked to the pub and went inside. I spotted Kate straight away but she was talking to a man and woman. Not knowing the circumstances and as it was her local, I didn’t go over to her straight away. Kate saw me and waved me over to join them. I was introduced to the 2 people and quickly realised that Anne and Ian were on the site/scene too.
We all chatted and got on well. Kate and Anne were best friends and it was Anne who had said that she should meet me as she was sure I was “one of the good ones”. Anne and Ian had played together at some stage. We chatted until closing time when we left the pub. Kate and I had a hug and a kiss to say good bye. She lived in the opposite direction to my hotel. I said I’d walk her back as she was on her own. Kate said she’d be OK but she would message me to say she was home OK.
Anne walked with me as she lived near to the hotel. We chatted about Kate and I found out some more details about Kate from Anne. At the end of the road where Anne lived we stopped and spoke for a while before having a hug and said good bye.
As promised Kate messaged me when she was home. We messaged each other until late and again throughout the next day. I had to leave for base the next day so there was no chance of a repeat meeting that evening.
