I thought I would try a different tack and joined Tinder. I’d been thinking over the last few months that I wanted more than casual sex with a stranger and maybe a bit more of a relationship. Relationship is not the right word though. Perhaps a friends with benefit is more accurate. Someone I could get to know and meet up with more often. Looking back though and if I am honest, I am not actually sure what I wanted. I guess I joined Tinder to just see what happened

After a month or so of false starts and trying avoid the stranger people. There was one lady who I had exchanged about 3 messages with, got upset that we were not exclusive. I made contact with a lady who actually seemed to want to message and wasn’t too intense or weird. We messaged each other for a couple of weeks before arranging to meet for a drink and a chat.

Anna and I met in the pub car park and went into the pub. We had a pleasant evening of just chatting. I must admit it was very strange at first to think that this was a “vanilla” date and not with someone who was on the scene.

After a couple of hours we walked back to the car park and said our good byes with a long kiss and a cuddle by her car. We carried on messaging each other over the next couple of weeks and hopefully will get to meet up again.
