I had arranged a trip away with work and had contacted Rob and Jane to see if we could try again to meet. They said yes and we had arranged that I would go to them on the Tues evening. All was looking good till the weekend.
Because of various reasons, I had to stay at home on the Monday and it looked like my trip away would be cancelled. However by lunchtime on the Monday, the “various reasons” looked to be resolved and I planned on rearranging my trip away to be Tues – Thurs instead of Mon – Weds. That meant I could still meet up with Rob and Jane.
But again something intervened. I was told that I had to go to head office on the Wednesday and that meant that my trip was off totally. I was really annoyed and even more so when I got to head office and had a meeting with 2 senior managers for reasons again which I won’t go into.
Once again, my plans did not come to fruition and I had to let Rob and Jane down. What with them having to cancel due to illness and now me, it is beginning to look like we are fated not to meet.

Just bad luck again Muppet but if I have not leaned anything from you post the one thing I have leaned is that you don't give up so I know one day I will be reading a story about the thing you got up to with this couple :D
