Had a bit of a panic today. I went to the clinic to get tested 10 days ago. It's a case of if they don't contact you within 14 days then your results are all negative. I had no concerns but just go every 3 or 4 months to be on the safe side.

Well....I had a missed call from a private number this morning. They had left a voice message saying they were from the clinic and would I ring them back. Oh bugger.....

I rang them back to find out that all my results were negative, it was just that they had not got enough blood from me to do the full range of tests. I had been warned that this might happen by the doctor at the time.

Panic over and back tomorrow to donate some more blood.

I was in a similar situation once, where I gave them the wrong number accidentally and after 14days thought christ what the bloody hell have they found but all turned out fine after second test lol.

Know what you mean Josh - this clinic work on the principle no news is good news. Personally I wish they would let you know that all is OK rather than you making the assumption when they don't contact you.
