The downside to me writing this in “real time” is that you get to read about all the times when plans didn’t come to fruition. However this gives a more realistic impression of what swinging is about rather than appearing that I have been lucky every time.

I am a bit of keen photographer and planned a trip away with work to coincide with a photo exhibition in the Midlands. To save me leaving home at silly o’clock in the morning, I booked a hotel not too far away from the venue. I am still in contact with Sandy so sent her a message asking if she wanted to meet up for a drink and a chat to catch up. I didn’t know if it was going to be anything more than just a drink. Obviously I did hope it would but anything would have been better than sitting in the room on my own and I did like Sandy so it would be good to catch up with her.

She replied that she was free and would love to meet up. We exchanged messages over the weeks arranging where to meet and times etc. Then on the Friday evening, I had a message from Sandy saying that her car had given up but she had someone coming to look at it on the Sat but if he couldn’t fix it she would to cancel. The inevitable happened and the car couldn’t be fixed much to the disappointment of us both.

I thought I would chance my luck and post a “Meet today” message on a couple of sites. I didn’t really expect to hear from anyone but to my amazement, I had a wink from a lady who lived in the area. A wink to means that the person has seen my message, was interested and wanted me to contact them. I sent a message back along with a photo. My message was read and then deleted. No reply. Why do that? If she was interested enough to send a wink the least she could do was to say not for her or something like that.

Anyway, the next day I had a good time at the photo exhibition and got to take some photos of the models there including Katie Green. After the exhibition, I carried on up to the North East as I had meetings through work. Again taking the opportunity, I posted another “Meet today”. No responses on the Mon but on the Tues I was sent a wink from a couple.

Again I sent a reply and waited to see it being deleted. Instead they sent a message back saying that they couldn’t meet that evening. Er....why send a wink when I had specifically said I was only here for the night. They did ask when I was next up here and would see what they could do then.

So another 3 nights in a hotel on my own. May be I will have better luck next time....

I know there has not been too much "excitement" in recent entries but I did say I was going to post about my experiences be they good, bad or indifferent. My quiet period was coming to an end and things improved after this entry. But as ever, those stories are for other times....
