Another trip away with work and I found myself in the Manchester area again. Each time I go away, I post a message saying that I will be in the area and if anyone wants to meet for a drink then give me a shout. I do mean a drink as I never expect anything more than that. After all it has got to be better than sitting in my hotel room or drinking alone in the bar. Also this time, I thought I would try one of the Manchester clubs if no one contacted me.
I had looked into the clubs and found one that was about 10 miles from where I was staying. So on m second night, I programmed the SatNav with the address and headed off into Manchester. I found the area and the SatNAv said I was at my destination but I couldn’t see the club. I carried on a bit further before turning round. I knew the building number but couldn’t see any doors with numbers. It took 3 drive bys before I saw the club. I know places like these have to be discrete but….Next thing was to find somewhere to park. The area didn’t seem the most up market (apologises to anyone who lives in the area) so I was a bit wary of parking in a side street. I found a place to park which seemed to be OK opposite the club, crossed the road and walked through the door.
Inside the entrance was the familiar glass partition and after showing ID and paying the fee, I was allowed through the next door. I knew that this was towel rather than clothed club but it was disconcerting to walk through the door into the bar area and be the only one who is fully dressed. Not that there were that many in the bar. 2 ladies and 2 men. I was given a towel and directed to the changing room.
Once I had changed, I went back to the bar. There were still just the 4 people in the bar. The man behind the bar asked one of the ladies to show me about. She was wearing just a black body thing and it was a lovely site to see her follow her up the stairs. I had a tour round the place, a Jacuzzi, sauna and a number of play rooms. In one of the rooms was a huge TV showing porn with 2 men wanking themselves as they watched the films. We left them to it as we didn’t think they were just wanking themselves.
Back downstairs in the bar, I chatted to the 4 people and the man behind the bar. It turned out that the lady who had shown me round was the wife of the man behind the bar. About 10 minutes after I arrived the other couple said they had to go and left. Then the other single in the bar left just after. That left me with the man behind the bar and his wife and the two men watching porn.
The man apologised that there was no one there but if I could make it the next night, then it would be much busier as they were having a greedy girls party. This seemed to be the story for me …. You should have been here last night / tomorrow night. I had a sit in the Jacuzzi but found it not as hot as I would have liked. I tried the sauna but it hadn’t been switched on so gave up with that.
I spent about an hour talking to the couple in the bar before giving up and going back to the hotel. As I left the man behind the bar apologised and said that I should come along the next day as they were having a greedy girls par….

How that feeling Muppet “should have been here yesterday it was amazing” god how many time have I hear that. Like you have said thou it a number game the more you go the more chance you have.
