Head Is Not In The Right Place

After my last visit to the club and seeing Josie with Dan, I realised my head was not in the right place for the scene. I wasn’t exactly jealous seeing Josie with Dan but I did find it difficult to hear about what they had been doing in the clubs, especially as Josie and I had become quite good friends. I was finding it difficult to separate out our friendship from the sexual side.

I discussed the way I was feeling with Josie and told her that I was going to take a break from the scene for a bit to get my head in the right place again. I told her that I would probably still go to the club and chat but wasn’t looking to play or to meet anyone new for the moment.

To that end, I changed my profile to say that I was taking a break for a bit and wasn’t looking to meet anyone new for the moment. Almost as soon as I changed to the profile, I had about 6 or 8 different profiles looking at mine. Maybe I should try that in the future to gather interest….?
