Diane and I had a very nice meal in a local pub before heading back to Ab Fabs for about 9.45. I was used to clubs not getting busy until about an hour or so after they opened. So, I was surprised to see that the car park was almost full when we arrived. We parked and joined the short queue to enter. It was all very efficient and we paid and entered a couple of minutes later.
I got a couple of drinks as Diane said she was going to change into something more sexy than her jeans. There seemed to be many single men walking about so I got the drinks quickly and went to make sure Diane was OK in the changing room. She was sitting chatting to a man waiting for me before getting changed as she felt a bit uncomfortable being watched. I stood talking to her as she changed, shielding her a bit from the viewing men.
Once she was changed, we went for a walk and found that some people must have gone straight to the carious rooms to have fun. There was no hanging about. Unfortunately as we walked, we attracted a number of men who followed us about. If we stopped to watch some people in a room, Diane would get crowded by the men. Some were so forward that they started to rub themselves against her. At one stage, 2 men stood in a doorway as she walked through so she had to brush against them.
Not only was Diane getting very uncomfortable but so was I. The men were just too in your face for us. Unfortunately, I have always thought that the clubs that charge a high entrance fee to the single men is counter-productive. The men pay a lot so some expect something in return for the money. Totally the wrong attitude to have and the only way to guarantee something happening for your money is to go to a massage parlour or similar. As I said, totally the wrong attitude but I can, to some extent, understand it.
We walked about, watched some people having fun and chatted with some people but it was clear that neither of us were feeling comfortable or even in the mood to continue the fun that had started in the afternoon. We stayed for an hour before deciding to leave.
As I drove us back, we discussed the evening and agreed the atmosphere was totally different to the other evenings we had been. Maybe it was because it was a clothed party, maybe the number of people or the number men but whatever it was, we decided that the Friday parties were not for us.
I dropped Diane off and said we would meet up again before long.
