Thursday arrived and I was in work early when Rob sent me a text asking if I was still up for meeting that evening. I replied that I was but it was dependant on how work went. If I could get to see people in the evening that I needed to see then I wouldn’t be able to meet but at that stage it was looking good for us to meet.
Through out the day, he sent me texts asking what I liked to do when I met couples. It was really apparent that he was getting off on the build up and me saying what I liked. I must admit I was starting to get really bored by it all as I didn’t expect anything to come of this. I decided to ask out right for their address or at least the area, something he had not given before. He sent me their postcode. I checked it and it would take me a good hour plus to get to them.
Around 3.30 I was told that I would be able to see the people I wanted up to 10 that evening. I couldn’t turn down that as it would save me going back the following week. I sent Rob a message apologising and explaining why I would not be able to get to them after all. He replied with a curt message saying they hadn’t thought I would meet them that evening. A second text arrived seconds later saying not to contact them again.
I didn’t reply as there was no point. I know I had cancelled a couple of times on them but if anyone had been messed about it was me. But some you win, some you loose. This was one of the losses.

cancelled twice on them,i think it was 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other TBH

Agree with you Outdoor guy but I was happy to accept their reasons for cancelling quite a few meetings without calling them timewasters. Still it is their choice and up to them ultimately.
