I had told Anne and John that I would be back in the area. Anne said she would check with John and confirm where he was working. She thought he would be home on the Tuesday and she hoped that we would be able to meet up finally. I had left it with them that they would let me know. I hadn’t heard anything by lunchtime on Tuesday so assumed we wouldn’t be meeting. I got a message from John late in the evening apologising profusely because he had been called away at short notice. He thought Anne was sending me the message but it seemed she was a bit hacked off with John being called away so had told him he could let me know this time. I told him I would be back again in a couple of weeks and we could try again then.

It must be hard to sort play time around each other lives guess that's all part of it as well.
