After Rob’s message saying Jane was ill, I had remained in contact with them to see how she was. By the Monday, Rob was saying she was still feeling rough but hoped to be well enough that if I wanted to go to their house, we could meet for a drink and chat on the Wednesday. I said that I would do but only if she was well enough. Rob replied that she hoped to be and that Jane was hoping that we might even get to play. I certainly was not expecting to as I guessed she was still feeling rough. Still if she wanted to then I would not turn Jane down. I assured them not to feel under any obligation to do anything just because I was going to visit them.

It was left that they would see how she was feeling on Wednesday before making the decision about meeting or whatever.
