I had been exchanging messages for a couple of months with a lady. She was married and initially she was going to play as a couple but then her husband got cold feet and said no. Then she was given permission to play alone. We tried to set up several meets but she always cancelled for some reason or other. I was starting to wonder if she was a she after all and not a man messing about.
Diane said that she wanted to try a club and would be going to a newish one in a town not too far from me. The date that she said she was going was typically one when I was away and not able to go. I doubted that she would have turned up either way so wasn’t too worried that I had missed the chance of meeting her. A couple of days later and her profile had been verified as genuine and that she had met someone in the club. They had just chatted and he hoped to see her again. So…I was wrong, she was a lady after all. I sent her a message asking how the visit had gone. She replied that there had been 3 men and her in the club!
A couple of weeks later and she said she wanted to go back and try it again. I was free that night and we arranged to meet outside and go in together. I booked my place as a single and was given directions.

The couple I had come in with got up from their chairs and went to have a look round. There were gone less than a minute before the BIA bloke left the room saying he was off to the toilet. I carried on chatting to the other bloke for another 10 minutes or so before deciding to see if the couple were up to anything. I asked if it was alright to watch and they nodded. The BIA left the area and I watched the couple for a bit. I asked if they would let me join in. Nice story Muppet be interesting to if Diane ever shows up, mind you it must be very unnerving meeting guy on your own for the first time.

I agree Donut - it is very difficult for a lady to meet someone but then it is still nerve wracking for the man.
And without giving too much away - 4 months later....Diane and I still have not met.
