WIRRALL - GENERAL

47. WIRRALL - GENERAL

A: Eastham Country Park - If you find the Eastham Ferry Hotel, which is on the rear of Carlett Park College on the A41 through Wirrall, then there are woods there, a country park if you like. Two main car-parks with plenty of bushes around both. Some cars park in the middle of the car-parks. More information from Jim: "Eastham Ferry Hotel is on Ferry Road which is the right turn in the middle of Eastham village. The signpost has been moved to confuse the unwary and those concentrating on other things. Turn right at Jemima's Coffee Shop and go along to the end to a mini roundabout. Straight on is Green Lane with car-parking spaces. Left and then right is main car-park. Loads of places to park / hide. Watch out for the squirrels; you know how they like to nibble nuts! Avoid the toilets at the Visitors Centre - they stink and are filthy..."

And, in March 2000: "Visited this one when I was up that way Monday night. Best time I've had for ages. Arrived about 9.30pm Three cars with couples in. Watched a young couple in a Metro for about fifteen minutes but they weren't too keen and left. Moved on to, of all things, a beaten up Skoda Estelle. Couple, mid 30s, she blonde and gorgeous. Let me watch them fuck through window, then she frigged herself after he'd finished, then she let me help, then he fucked her again while she sucked me. I'll be back. Not sure what happened to the third car..." Who cares! The boy done well...

B: Formby, Formby Beach - "Follow the signs for Formby and carry on to the coast road. The road terminates at a small car-park by a gap in the dunes which gives access to the beach. Through the gap (the sand is hard packed and will take vehicular traffic) turn left and follow the dunes for about three hundred yards. Beach and dune scene. Hetero couples and some gay activity. Friday / Saturday (intermittent)."

C: New Brighton, Wallasey on the Wirrall - "This is a car-park off Harrison Drive about two hundred yards on the right after the second roundabout driving away from the west end of Kings Parade (the Prom). You have to drive down a rather poor surfaced narrow access road but the car-park is large and you have access to the beach, dunes and a sort of picnic area. Most nights after dark - best nights Friday & Saturday." BUT problems in August 99: "Police everywhere last Friday night, including parked up in unmarked cars. Apparently locals have complained about the gay guys using the Prom after dark, and all the Police action has frightened off the exhibitionist couples."

"Exit M53 at J1 - Follow signs for Wallasey. Take third left turn into road marked North Wirral Coastal Park. Car-park is on the right hand side a few hundred yards up. If you go past that car-park there's another beside the sea about fifty yards on. Watch out for gays. My wife and I often go for outdoor fun and have seen lots of other couples and watchers there."

D: New Brighton, Wirral Country Park - "Still an excellent venue at weekends. Couples looking for voyeurs and people to participate, I highly recommend this site, and have personally had success there in eight visits out of ten."

E: Southport, Ainsdale Beach - "...a great place to see couples having fun..." and "...Ainsdale beach, just south of Southport has an unofficial but well-established nudist beach to the south. Turn left on entering the beach and walk for about half a mile after the barrier which prevents cars going further. Plenty of secluded spots in the dunes. Lots of gays, but also a number of voyeurs and exhibitionist m/f couples. Occasionally patrolled by the English Nature wardens but not a problem." "Still very good at weekends, especially late Saturday night. Even some group action last Saturday. Lots of exhibitionist couples. Excellent, well worth a trip."

"Last bank holiday weekend we thought we'd try Southport, the Ainsdale dunes used to be a great site last year but dropped off, primarily due to the number of Doggers roaming in packs. The beach was heaving but if you walked into the dunes about twenty feet, turn left and keep walking for five minutes, it gets much better, there were at least three other couples, all tucked away in little hideaways, there were a number of well behaved Doggers, and the couples seemed happy to put a show on, the weather was perfect, and if any of you fancy getting out during the day rather than the night duty, give it a go, it was great! No head lights, grass to discreetly screen out the Doggers sat only a couple of feet away and a tan to boot!

There has also been an increase in the night-time activity, the section we are referring to is just behind the Pontins site, next to the Sands Pub/Hotel (which can be a nice place to meet up if you feel like getting adventurous) it's only seconds from the beach and dunes if things get horny. Wednesday seems to be hotting up too, with nearly half a dozen couples getting it on last Wednesday (9 May 2000) during the afternoon! PS Special thanks to the couple just up the beach from us, stocky polite guy, short hair, gorgeous wife, with a hell of a figure. We had a hell of a time taking turns to show off, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did..."

"I have seen couples enjoying themselves and entertaining others during the day at Ainsdale Beach at Southport. I know you already have this site listed. However, I have seen the daytime action away from the nudist beach area mentioned. If you drive onto the beach and turn left and travel to the barrier preventing cars from going further then walk directly into the dunes, then go across the nature trail and in the next area are dunes where there are many secluded spots. There are usually a few Doggers but they are respectful and keep their distance. I have seen pure exhibitionism and also voyeur participation. I have seen various couples I met previously in swing clubs in Manchester. In-car action is also usually good but prone to the dangers you outlined in your Guide." And Sue and Mike continued the positive comments in early 2000: "Ainsdale Beach is still good... ...drive past Pontins, onto beach, turn left or right for action." But not all is good, as Bam Bam pointed out (March 2000): "A quick message about my trip to Ainsdale last Friday, very disappointing, was there most of the afternoon, even had a walk into the dunes though it wasn't warm. Only thing that happened was another male pulled up in his car at the side of me for ten minutes, looking at me, not my style really I prefer couples. Ah well, better luck next time I suppose!!"

F: Southport, Hesketh Park - "Gone very quiet recently, busiest late afternoons in bushes at back of toilets. In comparison to earlier in the year almost dead, maybe the light nights are keeping people away."

G: Storeton - "Roads surrounding Storeton Woods."
