34. NORFOLK - GENERAL
A: Holkham Beach, North Norfolk - "Take the A149 west from Wells-Next-the-Sea for about one mile. Turn right into the car-park opposite the entrance to Holkham Hall. On the beach turn left and walk several hundred yards until you see the 'clothing optional' signs. There is plenty of space on the beach and some activity in the dunes. Beware of officials who don't like this!"
"The Nudist beach at Holkham is near Wells-Next-the-Sea, on the north Norfolk coast. There is a pub near the entrance to Holkham Hall (on the coast road between Wells-Next-the-Sea and Huntstanton). Opposite the pub there is a long single track road to the car-park (there is a toll of £2.00 at the shed near the entrance). When parked walk towards the beach and bear left. Walk for approx twenty minutes until you come to the dunes. There is some great stuff happening there especially when it's really hot. It is also an official naturist beach." Bare left, eh? That's the spirit.
B: Haughley, near Stowmarket - "I discovered a useful place on the A14 between Ipswich and Cambridge (near Stowmarket). A picnic site called "Haughley". It is well signposted, and easily accessible, from both directions. A sign says it is locked at dusk. I pulled in about 11.00am on a fine summer day. A few cars around and some gay action presumed to go on in the toilet block. A woman pulled in, parked in the corner of the car-park jumped in the back of her car and was joined a few minutes later by a man in a second car. They were quite happy to let me watch them wanking and fondling each other (usual very careful approach!). Must go back again."
C: Kings Lynn - "Try Roydon Common near Kings Lynn..."
D: Litcham - "We know of several spots in Norfolk where we got to both watch and be watched and would welcome others coming to join us. These are mostly rural, but also easily accessible from either Kings Lynn or Norwich. One of our favourite locales is Litcham Common, just off the old Norwich to Kings Lynn road. Directions: on arriving in Litcham (sorry can't remember the road classification number) turn left at the "Bull Inn". Drive through the village and take the first on the right out of the village signposted to Dunham and Necton. After a few hundred yards on the right is a car-park for Litcham Common. The common occurs on both sides of the road and is a good place for both exhibitionism and voyeurism."
E: Mildenhall - "...just off the A11 at the Mildenhall roundabout."
F: Norwich - Mark and Connie wrote (June 2000): "The Wittlingham Lane car-park in Norwich is a place we love to go. We are uninhibited and love being watched in our sexual activities. This is not a fantastic place for action but it does happen. We haven't quite worked out the right time to be there yet, we are normally there on a Saturday or Sunday night quite late ie: midnight-ish. We have had some real fun there but also sometimes got very bored! So if you are close give it a try. The car-park in question is sited about one and a half miles down on right hand side with two wooden height restricters at the front and the 'joining in' signs are as usual (flashing lights etc...)."
G: Thetford Forest - "My girlfriend introduced me to this place a year ago... ...watched couples play while bonking... ...do not however make it obvious as I have found this area likes people to be very discreet. Again weekend... ...best time late afternoon or early evening... ...just off the A11."
"WHERE: Off the A1065 between Lakenheath (a big RAF base) and Mundford. There is a side-road which leads to an archeological site known as "Grime's Graves". DESCRIPTION: As far as I know, this isn't a location where people go to meet up. However, I can say it's a very nice place to take your significant other for a drive in the countryside. The A1065 is a very busy main road, and there aren't many side-roads for people who want to enjoy the forest in a little peace. However, the side-road to Grime's Graves is quieter, and has places where you can park. VERDICT: Worth a visit, but don't expect too much of it. There's too much traffic on the main road, and it's hard to get deeper into the forest."
"I have been a couple of times to the site at Mundford in Thetford forest, I haven't seen much in the way of couples but there is a lot of gay activity. Apparently the best times are Friday and Saturday after 10.00pm though I have heard that Thursdays are occasionally good."
