1. BARR BEACON - WEST MIDLANDS
Barr Beacon car-park (NE of Birmingham near Walsall, on the main road from Aldridge to Great Barr). The car-parks officially close at 'dusk' or 9.00pm depending on which sign you believe, but access is normally OK right through the night. If you go, check the maps on the notice boards. More than one car-park with signs of activity, and you can get from one to the other on foot behind the TV masts, but not by car (see below).

Drive through Barr Beacon (there may be some action) and back onto the main road. Take next right into another Barr Beacon parking area (there is normally more action here)."

Charlie said: "Barr Beacon has two car-parks, both approached from the main road (they don't connect to each other). One, the smaller of the two, has no 'return' so you have to turn in the road to get out again. The larger, 'U'-shaped one, has a fair number of boy-racers eating carry-outs at night, but also has a couple of secure little in-shots up at the rotunda. The small car-park is very much for consensual shows / watchers, while the other has sufficient bushes etc to allow for peeping!"
